Malaysia's first HR training built for the Future Workforce

Employment Act 1955.
Mastered in two days

A two-day intensive bootcamp for SME owners, HR practitioners, and mid-to-senior managers who need to make people decisions that are fair, defensible, and legally sound — without spending months wading through the Act on their own.

One wrong dismissal can cost RM 30,000–100,000 in court — not because the company was wrong, but because the process was weak.

If you run an SME, this might sound familiar

You know the law exists.
You're just not sure you're following it

Every SME owner we’ve trained started in the same place — knowing they probably weren’t fully compliant, hoping it wouldn’t matter, dreading the day it would.

Why it matters now

Most SME founders don't realise the bill until it's already due

Employment law is the one area where being mostly-right still gets you sued. The cost of one weak process is rarely just the dismissal itself — it’s the legal fees, the operational disruption, and the chilling effect on every future decision.

A wrong dismissal

RM 30K–100K

in court costs — most of which is preventable with proper process documentation.

Compliance gaps

RM 10K+

in fines per violation under the Act — and most SMEs have multiple compliance gaps they don’t know about.

A poorly handled grievance

Months lost

to legal back-and-forth — while your team waits, your founder time goes, and your reputation takes the quiet hit.

The curriculum

Two days
Twelve practical modules

Built around the real scenarios SMEs face every quarter — not a recitation of the Act. Every module ends with a documented decision framework you’ll take back to your company.

Day 01

Foundations & the high-risk decisions

The decisions that most often go wrong — and how to get them right the first time.

01

Termination procedures — fair, defensible dismissal

03

Misconduct handling — show-cause to domestic inquiry

04

Documentation standards — what protects you in court

05

Wages, deductions, overtime — the calculation rules

06

Working hours & rest days — what flexibility you actually have

Day 02

Modern realities & workplace protections

The areas where Malaysian employment law has evolved fastest — and where most SMEs are quietly behind.

07

Maternity & paternity — current entitlements & process

08

Flexible work arrangements — what employees can request

09

A printed copy of the Employment Act 1955

The actual legal text. Yours to keep, mark up, and refer to for the rest of your career.

Why we include it

Because the Act is the reference. Everything else is interpretation

When a real situation lands on your desk — a dismissal, a grievance, a wage dispute — you need to know which section of the Act applies and exactly what it says. Not a paraphrase. Not a slide. The actual text.

Throughout the two days, we’ll walk you through where to find what — so when the next case lands, you don’t go looking. You open the book to the section we showed you.

A printed, current edition of the Employment Act 1955 for every participant. One book per seat.

What you walk away with

Confidence on the decisions
that used to keep you up at night

Not a certificate. Not a slide deck. Capability you’ll use the very next time a difficult conversation lands on your desk.

A certificate of attendance for the Employment Act 1955 training, featuring elegant design elements.

01

A decision framework for every high-risk people scenario — from termination to misconduct to grievance — so you know the right call before you make it.

02

Documented process templates — show-cause letters, domestic inquiry minutes, termination letters — so your decisions hold up in court.

03

A compliance audit checklist — to map exactly where your current HR practices sit against the Act, and what to fix first.

04

Direct access to ZTS specialists for follow-up questions — because the next tricky case will come, and you shouldn’t have to face it alone.
